This classroom-based course offers beekeepers detailed information on what to expect the second year of beekeeping and beyond. The course will include: an overview of seasonal management issues, with a strong focus on spring management such as swarm management and making splits as well as pest management such as determining winter colony loss causes, and mite control/ management. The goal is for students to learn how to maximize hive health and productivity.  Space is limited, So register today!

Prerequisites: BK 101 or equivalent or have kept bees at least 1 year.
